A traffic stop for not wearing a seat belt on State Highway 11E at CR 2421 resulted in the arrest of Summer Michelle Rowe, 29, of Como. Rowe said she was asleep and that is why the seat belt was not secured. Nervous responses led to a consent to search the vehicle.
During the search a syringe was found. At that time Rowe was arrested. A the jail, the jail staff located a pink plastic baggie with crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine as well as a clear plastic baggie that contained green leafy substance believed to be marijuana.
Rowe is in Hopkins County Jail being held on a $10,000 bond.
