Wildcats Have Bad Night in Loss to Mt Pleasant

The Wildcats’ basketball team picked a bad night for an off night as Mt. Pleasant defeated the Wildcats, 51-39 in Wildcats Gym Friday night. The Wildcats never seemed to get into any rhythm offensively and shots were not falling.

The Tigers led 14-9 after one quarter, 26-13 at halftime and 40-25 after three quarters. Ke’Ontae Dunn led all scorers with 17 points for the Wildcats. Keaston Willis added 13 points. Dorian Glinton was the Tigers leading scorer with 16 points< Kevin Savage added 11 and James Moore had 10 points.

Mt. Pleasant stays on top in the district standings at 5-0 and they are 17-5 for the season. The Wildcats are now 3-1 in district play and 18-5 for the season. The Wildcats play at Greenville Tuesday night.
