Thursday was a good day for Wildcats and Lady Cats’ soccer teams. The Wildcats won a pair of tournament games and the Lady Cats won the only one they played. The Wildcats, in a Rockwall tournament, defeated Rockwall, 4-1 and also downed Dallas W.T. White, 2-0 Thursday. The Wildcats are now 4-1 for the season. They will play Garland at 4 p.m. Friday in the tournament.
Meanwhile, the Lady Cats topped Mabank, 2-0 in a Paris tournament Thursday. The Lady Cats won the Paris tournament last year. With the Thursday win, the Lady Cats improved their season record to 2-1-1. The Lady Cats played Bonham Friday. That match got underway at 11:30 a.m. Both the Rockwall tournament and the Paris tournament will continue through Saturday.
