Responding to a call on Country Road 1142 Saturday morning at 3 a.m., Hopkins County Deputies found Michael Raynal Blackman, 22, of Dallas had fled the scene. He was found driving on FM 275 and stopped. The complainant was observed to have visible injuries on her neck, chin , and upper chest area.
Blackman is in Hopkins county jail charged with Assault Family/House Member Impede Breath/Circulation and is being held on a $15,000 bond.
