You’re Invited to Rodeo and Fight Cancer!

Rowdy France, Event Coordinator for the 7th Annual Fall Ranch Rodeo and Meredith Caddell, Executive Director of the Hopkins County Healthcare Foundation will “team up” during the one-time rodeo performance on Saturday night. This year, proceeds from the rodeo event will be earmarked for opening the “In My Closet” cancer closet. Starting on Tuesdays in November, local cancer patients will be able to choose from an assortment of items from the closet as well as receive assistance with gasoline expenses for treatments. A sponsorship of Cross Country Cowboy Church, the Fall Ranch Rodeo has been donating proceeds to the Foundation for a few years, without a specific use for those funds. Now, you can get information about “In My Closet” by calling 903-438-4799.

The team is also inviting the first 500 to enter the rodeo for a free hamburger or hot dog meal. There is also a free “Cash Scramble” for children age 6 and under, as well as a Calf Scramble for kids 7-12, and a “Bucket Race” for adults as part of the entertainment between ranch rodeo events. The rodeo will begin at 7pm on Saturday October 29, 2016 in the Civic Center arena, and ticket price is $5 per person with kids 4 and under admitted free.
