The annual Heritage Square Classic Car Show is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Sulphur Springs Downtown Business Alliance. The Car Show is coming to Celebration Plaza on Saturday November 5, 2016 and it is the 11th annual event! According to Rita Edwards, DBA President, the event has steadily grown in size and stature and now is known as “one of the best car shows in the state” by many classic owners. Due to limited space in the downtown area, car and truck entries must be limited to vehicle models 1987 and older. The event is divided into numerous judging categories, and there will 35 different awards given. Cars will begin rolling into Sulphur Springs on the previous day and into the morning hours, with registration starting at 8am. People can view the cars free of charge all day until awards time at 3pm. Rita and her husband Eugene Edwards own a car lot in Sulphur Springs and are life-long classic car enthusiasts, proudly promoting the Heritage Square Car Show year round. Proceeds benefit annual DBA projects.
