A light voter turnout over the weekend brings early vote total to 4,830 for the first seven days. Saturday saw 446 and Sunday recorded 223 early votes cast. Early voting continues through the end of the week.
Sample ballots are found on the Hopkins County website. Parking at the new Jefferson Street Parking lot, accessed off Rosemont Street, is being used by many voters.
The General Election is Tuesday, November 8. KSST will broadcast local results as they are available and will report Texas and national totals at :15 and :45 past the hour beginning at 7:15 p.m. and ending at 10 p.m.
