Charles “Charlie” Studer, Jr.

Graveside service for Charles “Charlie” Studer, Jr., age 89, of Dallas, Texas, will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 11:30 a.m., at Tira Cemetery with Rev. Justin Wilson officiating and Joe Bowling, Tommy Gee, Jimmy Jordan, Scott Baldwin, Rick Aber and Randall Royal serving as Pallbearers. Visitation will be held prior to the service, Tuesday, November 1, 2016 from 10-11 a.m. at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Mr. Studer passed away Friday, October 28, 2016 at Diversicare at Lake Highland Nursing Home, in Dallas. He was born September 5, 1927, in Earth, Texas the son of Carl Charles and Gladys Mae (Goggans) Studer. He married Kyla Goggans on August 31, 1985, in Dallas. Charlie was a wreck estimator and insurance consultant and served in the United States Army, having served in WWII. He was a member of Wilshire Baptist Church, in Dallas.

Mr. Studer is survived by his wife; daughters, Katherine Morris of Sherman, and Betty Jo Farmer and husband Bill, of Royse City; grandchildren, Jimmy Jordan, Joanna Bowling and husband Joe, Misty Pearson and husband Robbie, Jason Farmer and wife June; great-grandchildren, Charlie Nona Morris, Katherine Allsup and husband John, Christina Kirkpatrick and husband Chad, Candice Gee and husband Tommy, Krystal Morris, Jimmy Jordan, Jr., Jake Pearson and Rowdy Farmer; great great-grandchildren, Braeden Rader, Anthony Rader, Scarlet Morris, Kaedence Kirkpatrick and Camden Kirkpatrick; brother, Francis Earl (Stu) Studer and wife Judy, of Carrollton; sister, Terry Sutton and husband Jim, of Carrollton; and special friends, Harold and Clarice Sager, Richard and Joann Quick, Rick and Gwenda Aber, and Joe and Mary Williams.
