Wildcats Begin Friday Game Day with Pep Rally

With light rain falling outside, the Wildcat football team, coaches, cheerleaders, parents, and fans celebrated all that is Wildcat in a 8 a.m. pep rally in the Pacific Room at the Dolphin Hotel at Epcot Center Disney World Friday morning. The event featured coaches dancing, cheers, and a variety of family fun activities prior to breakfast. (see slideshow below)

Coach Greg Owens told KSST News, present for the event with special permission from KSA Events and the Dolphin Hotel, that the team is ready for the game. With four games scheduled on the playing field at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports, he is hoping rain will not delay the start of tonight’s game. The local forecast calls for the rain to end mid to late afternoon today. Defensive Coordinator Triston Abron, who along with Coach Johnny McSheffrey exhibited his dancing abilities during the pep rally, said his squad will have their hands full with some old fashioned offensive sets for the opposition.

A large number of family and fans were present for breakfast along with the opposing team and their contingency.
