The Lady Cats’ volleyball team evened their district record at 1-1 with a dominating 3-0 win over Texas High Tuesday night in Wildcats Gym. The score was 25-13, 25-18 and 25-22.
Once again the Lady Cats got contributions from numerous players. Kaylee Jefferson led the Lady Cats with 10 kills, Autumn Tanton added 7, Mieke VanBenthem 6, Abbi Baier 5 and Sheretta Hill 2. Tori Moore led the Lady Cats with 27 assists. In digs, Anden Hammack had 8 with Maggie McGlammery and Moore with 6 each. VanBenthem had another strong game at the net with one solo block and 5 block assists. Baier had 2 block assists with Hill, Moore and Madi Vickery with 1 each. In service aces, Moore had 2, with Jefferson, Baier and Hammack 1 each.
The Lady Cats are now 22-8 for the season. The Lady Cats will host Greenville on Homecoming Friday at 4:30 p.m.
