Family and Consumer Sciences leader Johanna Hicks will host two events during August.
The “Twogether in Texas” Marriage Education free workshop will be held Saturday August 20 from 8:30 am-3:30 pm. Topics included will be marriage expectations, communication, conflict resolution, money management, and goals and dreams. Engaged couples will receive a certificate to save $60 upon applying for a marriage license. Married couples are also welcome.
The “Do Well, Be Well with Diabetes” summer series begins August 22 in a 5-lesson weekly series. There is a $25 fee, payable at the first session which covers materials, refreshments, door prizes, speakers and copies of the presentations.
