Funeral Services for Shirley Ann Moore, age 71, of Saltillo will be held Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Weaver Baptist Church in Saltillo, Texas, with Bro. Tom Friday officiating. Interment will follow at Weaver Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service, Saturday July 23, 2016, at 9 a.m. at Weaver Baptist Church in Saltillo.
Shirley passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital, in Tyler. She was born March 16, 1945 in Abilene Texas, the daughter of Bill and Ada Dixson. She married Jack Moore on April 20, 1963 in Abilene. She was a cosmetology instructor, school teacher, and a member of Weaver Baptist Church in Saltillo.
She is survived by her husband; daughter, Tammy Higinbotham and husband Steve, of Plano; sons, Scott Moore and wife Patty of Saltillo, and William Moore and wife Rebecca, of Saltillo; grandchildren, Clayton Hykel, Stephanie Higinbotham, Tami Moore, Brandi Erler, Scott Moore Jr., Michael Roch, William Moore Jr., Tapainga Moore, Alexis Mars, and Taylor Moore; seven great grandchildren; brother, Donny Dixson; and sister, Beverly Westbrook.
She is preceded in death by her brothers, Hugh Edward Dixson, David Dixson, and Kenneth Dixson.
In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be made to Weaver Baptist Church, 8749 US-67, Saltillo, TX 75478.
