Onstage at Main Street Theatre!

Veteran director David Woody and his cast will stage eight performances of Tennessee Williams’ “The Glass Menagerie” at Main Street Theater March 10-20, 2016.  Leah Connor plays the role of Amanda Wingfield  who lives in the family home with her two adult children, Tom Wingfield (Ken Schroeder) and Laura Wingfield (Aldin Green). Denver Dodson plays Jim, Laura’s  gentleman caller. Tom also narrates the play, and recounts the fantasy story lived out by his dysfunctional family.  The director, cast and supporting crew are members of Sulphur Springs Community Players, a group that for over 30 years has brought live community theatre to Sulphur Springs at 227 Main Street, downtown.
