Funeral services for Geneva Gilbreath, age 92 of Sunset will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with David Hall and Brent Weast officiating. Interment will follow at Seymore Cemetery with Brent Weast, Terry Scott, David Anderson, Tyler Booker, Danny Clampitt and Jarvis Clawson serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., prior to the service.
Geneva passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Nocona Hospital in Nocona. She was born on October 20, 1923 in Hopkins County, the daughter of Tom W. and Vonnie (Carter) Thomas. She retired from the printing industry.
Survivors include daughter, Evelyn Anderson of Sunset; sons, Billy Ray Gilbreath of Plano and Leon Gene Gilbreath of Lake Worth; grandchildren, Danielle Scott, David Anderson, Laurie Gilbreath, Amy Parker, Tamara Weast, Deanna Madon, Karen and Beth Gilbreath; great-grandchildren, Danny Clampitt, Erica Scott, Sam Weast and Whitney Van Horn and great-great-grandchildren, Tristan Clampitt, Carter Clampitt and Cayden Van Horn.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Jerry Gilbreath; two brothers, John Thomas and Boy Thomas and two sisters, Ethel Brown and Louise Shoemaker.
