The Saltillo Varsity Girls are now seeking to win Regional Semi-Finals when they play Friday February 26 at 5pm at Mansfield High School VS Lipan. On Tuesday night, the girls beat Campbell 54-39 at Cooper. And the Saltillo Boys are now out of the playoffs, after a 59-46 District loss to Campbell at Cooper.
As last week wrapped up, the Saltillo Lady Lions Varsity Basketball team took the Area Championship after beating Forestburg 82-28. Now the girls hope to become Regional Champs. Their next game is for the Regional Quarterfinals when they face Campbell at Cooper on Tuesday Feb 23 at 6:30pm. Following the girls’ game, the Saltillo Boys will play a Bi-District game at the Cooper gym at 8pm Tuesday.
