Toney Hurley of Hopkins County, a Special Ranger with the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, was featured in a recent article of Progressive Cattleman. The article explains how the Special Rangers use technology and their experience to solve cases of cattle theft and to protect the ranching way of life. In the article, Hurley uses DNA, photos and a GPS device to solve cases, even without branded cattle.
