Funeral services for Mr. Roy Garland Wallis, 48, of Sulphur Springs, will be conducted November 8 at 2 p.m. at New Beginnings Baptist Church. Mr. Wallis passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2015 in a Tyler hospital.
Roy was born in Winnsboro on June 27, 1967 to Hubert Howard Wallis and Arlene L. Johnson Wallis. He worked formerly as a school bus driver, and was a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs. He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert Wallis; brother, Randy Wallis.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer (Canaga) Wallis of Sulphur Springs; mother and step-father, Arlene and Sammy Brown; son, Simon Wallis of Sulphur Springs; daughter, Mckenzie Wallis of Sulphur Springs; brothers, William Wallis and wife Cecilia, Timothy Wallis and wife Melody; step-sister, Samantha Brown of Winnsboro; and numerous nieces and nephews.
