The Hopkins County Stew Contest was such a success that Rock Creek Health & Rehabilitation’s Activity Director, Judith Beck, decided to bring a mini stew contest to her residents. Four stews were provided by Hospice Plus, Bethany Home Health, Cypress Home Health and Judith Beck. Four resident judges took their task of determining the best stew very seriously before determining the winner, Cypress Home Health.

Rock Creek Administrator, Rod Smith, declared himself a silent judge of the contest, enjoying a bowl from each participant. He declared all to be a winner.
