Marie Cook Michael

Mrs. Marie Cook Michael, age 92, of Winnsboro, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2015 in Winnsboro.

Marie was born in Franklin County on November 22, 1923 to the late James and Myra Saye Cook. She was a retired seamstress and homemaker; and a member of Clearwater Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Myra Cook; husband, J.W. “Wilford” Michael; five brothers, and two sisters.

She is survived by her three sons, Tommy Michael and wife Suzanne of Winnsboro, James Neal Michael and wife Kathy of Holly Lake Ranch, Donald Michael and wife Pat of Scroggins; daughter, Deborah Wallis of Scroggins; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation and services will be held at Clearwater Baptist Church on Thursday, December 3, 2015 Vis- 1:00Pm until service time at 2:00 PM, Interment will follow at Smyrna Cemetery, Bro. Bill Holmes officiating: Memorials can be made to your favorite charity.
