The National Weather Service in Fort Worth continues the flash flood warning for Northeastern Hopkins County until 8 p.m. Friday night. The Weather Service had Issued A * Flash Flood Warning for: Hopkins county in Central Texas, Hunt county in North Central Texas, Delta county in Central Texas, and
Southern Lamar county in North Central Texas. Most of that warning has been cancelled although there remain a few flooded roads in the area.
However now only Northeastern Hopkins remains in the warning until 8 pm CST
Turn Around…don’t drown when Encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
