Mrs. Cynthia Purcell Hartley

Mrs. Cynthia (Purcell) Hartley, age 80 of Marshall, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 in Marshall. Memorial services are Saturday, October 17, 2 p.m. at New Pickton Cemetery.

Cynthia was born on June 23, 1935 in Hopkins County to the late Guy and Juanita Randolph Purcell. She and her late husband, Otis Hartley, owned and operated Air Express in Denver, and were members of Galilee Baptist Church, before returning to east Texas to retire.

She is survived by her two daughters, Dina Allen of Jefferson, and Maxanna Stephens of Elysian Fields; one sister, Glenda Barry and husband Ron of Winnsboro; six grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Beaty Funeral Home, Winnsboro.
