Funeral service for Jackie Royce Barker, age 71, of Point, will be held on 10:30 am, Thursday, Aug. 20, 2015, at the First Assembly of God Church in Emory. Bro. Montie Parker will officiate. Interment will follow in Dunbar Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening, 6:00–8:00 pm at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home in Emory.
Mr. Barker was born June 26, 1944, in Dallas, to Lester and Ruby Northcutt Barker. He was in the U.S. Army. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church.
