Winnsboro Police Activity for July 6-12

police lightsWinnsboro Police Department made three arrests, investigated two accidents, answered 151 calls for service and issued 25 citations along with 34 warnings during the seven day period of July 6-12.

Kimberly Burns, 44, of Winnsboro was arrested on a Morris County warrant Tuesday, July 7.

On Wednesday July 8th, Jimmy Lightfoot, Jr., 39, of Dallas was arrested on a Stephens County warrant.

Ricardo Perez, 40, of Mineola was arrested on a Wood County warrant Thursday, July 9th.

On Friday, July 10th, a sedan was stationary, facing east, at a signal light at the intersection of East Coke Road and South Main Street when it was struck by a pickup traveling in the same direction. No injuries were reported.

Saturday, July 11th, a pickup pulling a trailer was stationary facing north at the intersection of South Main and East Coke Road. Both were struck by a pickup traveling in the same direction. No injuries were reported.

Winnsboro police would advise caution at the signal light located at East Coke Road and South Main Street.
