Private Services will be held for Harold “Woody” Wood, age 86 of Sulphur Springs, who passed away on Monday, June 22, 2015 at Sunny Springs Nursing Home.
He was born on May 8, 1929, the son of Lynn and Frances (Toole) Wood in Rochester, NY. He married Betty Jean Moore on November 8, 1964 in Las Vegas, NV. She preceded him in death in March, 2015. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a retired Inventory Controller for Ocean Spray’s Logistics Dept.
Survivors include: daughter, Kathy Cook of Sulphur Springs; sons, Michael Wood and wife, Jodi of Sulphur Springs and Jerry Wood of Los Angeles, CA; Brother, Donald Wood of Rochester, NY and grandchildren, Lauren Cook, Elexa Wood and Lyndon Wood.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
