Night Sky Activities

Learn about planets, stars, our moon, telescopes, and other tools to help you view the night sky. Make a sky-wheel to help you locate constellations. Then attend the Stargazing party that evening and enjoy the view!

Bring the kids and be amazed as you discover the secrets of the night sky! There will be several activities including making a sky wheel that will show you what to look for in the night sky and where to look for it. Discover why the moon goes through its phases and where the stars go during the day. The program will be held at Gulls Bluff Group Pavilion. This program may be cancelled because of weather conditions. Call the park office for updated information.
