Some Sulphur Springs High School Math and Science UIL Academic students competed in a practice meet last weekend at North Lamar. They finished second overall behind Garland. Math Teacher Gerald Grafton said the team used the meet to get ready for strong district competition coming up in two weeks. Senior Ariel Gonzales was first in Number Sense, first in Calculator and second in Math among seniors
