Billie VanWey

Funeral Service for Billie VanWey, age 82 of Sulphur Springs will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Pastor Rusty Posey officiating.  Visitation will be held at 2:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be at Sulphur Springs City Cemetery with Lonnie Taylor, Will VanWey, Jr., Caleb VanWey, Heath Halbert, Floyd Hutcherson and Scott Wren serving as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers are Ralph Hutcherson, Jr. Keith Weatherhead, Gary Lewis, Joe Woodall and Billy Reynolds.

Mrs. VanWey passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Sulphur Springs Health & Rehab.  She was born on October 9, 1932 the daughter of Pete and Cleo (Yeates) Landreth. She married Ernest VanWey in December, 1970 at Durant, OK.  He survives.  She volunteered for several places that included the Hopkins County Memorial Hospital as a Pink Lady, senior citizens center and church nursery.  She was also a member of the Assembly of God church.

Other survivors include: sons, Ronnie Hutcherson of Yowell, Ralph Hutcherson and wife, Tonie of Fairley and Will VanWey and wife, Sandra of Sulphur Springs; daughter, Sherry Woodall of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Stephanie Halbert, Cristy Wren, Ralph Hutcherson, Jr., Spencer Woodall, Destinee Hutcherson, Michael Hutcherson, Floyd Hutcherson, Caleb VanWey, Will VanWey, Jr., Lacinda VanWey and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Tommy Landreth and one grandchild, Shandell Kizer.
