Graveside services for Marsha Yanez of Winnsboro will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Simpsonville Cemetery in Simpsonville, TX with Brad Onley officiating. Bobby Davis, Paxton Weems, Jesse Weems, Dakota Miller, Joe Simmons and Jesse Burns are serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, February 16, 2015 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Mrs. Yanez passed away on Friday, February 13, 2015 at Rock Creek Health & Rehab. She was born in Waco, TX on August 21, 1949, the daughter of Jesse Ivey, Sr. and Cora Hortense Dodson White. She married Abel Yanez, thirty-six years ago in Hugo, OK. He survives. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Other survivors include: son, Jesse Weems and wife, Jamie of Winnsboro; grandchildren, Jay Miller, Dakota Miller, Paxton Weems, Anna-Claire Weems and Noah Weems; brother, Jesse White, Jr.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
