Sulphur Springs School Superintendent Michael Lamb has been floating a plan to restructure the district’s K-5th grade classes.
The idea was been circulating enough for opposition to arise. During public forum Monday night ECLC Kindergarten Teacher Mickie Wilson, parent Mary Taylor and concerned citizen John Davidson expressed concerns.
Lamb would like to see 4th and 5th graders combined at Sulphur Springs Elementary, Kindergarten and Head Start moved to Douglas with ECLC and the three primary campuses having K through 3rd grade.
I talked with Lamb about the idea.
