Benefit for Joy Ilene (Delozier) Brown – who is undergoing treatment for stage 4 Breast Cancer at the Texas Oncology Center at Baylor.
Ilene is the sister of Ina and Buddy Gore and a resident of Brashear (Hopkins County). She was employed by the Smith, Johnson, McDowell Law firm where she was a Legal Assistant. Additionally, she was employed as Chief Court Clerk for Hopkins County Justice of the Peace Cletus Millsap Precinct 1, until she retired.
She has actively supported her husband James H Brown, who is an ordained Minister in the Church of God. Her Ministry gifts include singing, teaching and speaking. She was a member of the Psalm 100 Christian band for over 10 years. Until she became ill she was Pianist and a member of the praise and worship team at Triumph Christian Center on Jackson St.
Her Children are: Brent and his wife Sharon Brown; Kevan and his wife Lisa Brown; Erik and wife Laurie Bearden Brown; Benji and his wife Khrista Tanton Brown.
