Adam Hall and Ryan Brown of the Band Southern Soul

Adam Hall and Ryan Brown of the band Southern Soul feel that 2015 is their year! The guys chatted with Enola Gay on the Good Morning Show about their upcoming concert in Commerce on Friday night. Adam is songwriter, vocalist and rhythm guitarist. Ryan plays drums and co-writes with Adam. Other band members are lead guitarist Jacob Mazoch and bass man Sal Castro. The music they like to play ranges from Southern Rock to Red Dirt to Country with a little blues and soul tossed in. All are versatile musicians who had backgrounds in other bands when Southern Soul formed in 2014 and won first place at last fall’s “Battle of the Bands” in downtown Sulphur Springs. As winners, they earned the opportunity to record a CD and are currently “shopping” for a studio. After their Friday February 20 concert at “The Drunken Mule” in downtown Commerce, they have another concert date in March in Mt. Pleasant, so look for lots more chances to see them around Northeast Texas this spring. The best of luck to Southern Soul in 2015!
