The Wildcats’ basketball team hung with district leading Marshall in the first quarter on the road Friday night. The Wildcats trailed only 23-20. It got ugly after that as Marshall took an 89-53 win. Cain Cody got 20 points for the Wildcats. The loss dropped the Wildcats to 2-5 in district play. Another tough road trip comes up Tuesday, this one to Texas High.
