Funeral services for Ruthie Edna Brown Millsap, age 86, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 18, 2015 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jimmy Henry officiating. Interment will follow at Miller Grove Cemetery with Joel Daniels, Jason Millsap, Clinton Millsap, Jeremy Burton, Michael Mullins and Brandon Darrow serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Pete Adams and Larry Evans. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, January 17, 2015 at West Oaks Funeral Home.
Mrs. Millsap passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015at St. Lukes Patient Medical Center in Pasadena, TX. She was born on July 25, 1928 in Yantis, TX the daughter of Charlie H. and Effie Elizabeth McCormick Brown. She married Charlie Clinton Millsap and he preceded her in death. Mrs. Millsap was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She is survived by sons, Charles Alvis Millsap, Donnie lee Millsap, daughters, Beth Adams, Patricia Jane Mullins, 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Ronnie Dee Millsap, brothers, Irvin Brown, George Brown and Jack Brown, sisters, Essie May Douglas, Stella Rollins, Myrtle Kennimer and Nell Rosemond, one granddaughter, Melissa Rose Adams.
