Military graveside honors by the Marine Honor Guard for Ronald John Vondall, 76, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Elm Cemetery with Bro. Paul Bailey officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
Mr. Vondall passed away on January 13, 2015 at the VA Hospital in Temple, TX. He was born on August 17, 1938 in Belcourt, ND, the son of Michael and Florence Martin Vondall. He married Kay Froneberger on January 4, 1973 in Marietta, OK. She survives. Mr. Vondall served in the U.S. Marine Corps and worked as a mechanical designer. In addition to his wife, he is also survived by children, Nicole Vondall of Belton, TX, Amy Blanchard and husband Tim of Sulphur Springs, Jeff, Monique, Darin, Leo, and Tracy of ND, brothers, Michael Vondall of Pocatello, ID, Larry Vondall of Dickinson, ND, John Vondall of Minneapolis, MN, sisters, Mary Jane Vondall and Cecelia Vondall both of Grand Portage, MN, Valda Vondall of Brainard, MN, grandchildren, Rye, Mia, Mekya, Alani, and Emerson. He was preceded in death by daughter, Paige Vondall Kelly and granddaughter, Molly Paige Blanchard.
