Olga Jean Courtney

Funeral service for Olga Jean Courtney, age 81, formerly of Emory, will be held  2:00 pm Wednesday afternoon at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Billy Smith will officiate. Burial will follow in Clifton Cemetery. Mrs. Courtney died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015, at Wood Memorial Nursing Home in Mineola.

She was born March 15, 1933, in Arbala, to Ernest Murl and Lora Rae Scott Cooke. She married Edwin Courtney in Wichita Falls on Jan. 18, 1954. She worked in Human Resources for the State of Texas.

Survivors include: Dorothy Robinson (Roy) of Keene; Step-sons and wives: Jim and Parnell Courtney of Abilene; Raymond and Dianna Courtney of Pottersville, MO; and Roy and Brenda Courtney of Cedar Hill. Preceded in death by: parents, husband, one step-son; and Ima Jean Fisher, Several other Uncles and Aunts.
