The Lady Cats’ soccer team won their third and final scrimmage, 8-1 over North Lamar Tuesday evening. On New Year’s Eve the Lady Cats squeezed by Quinlin Ford, 2-1 and then lost to Pleasant Grove, 3-1 last Saturday. The Lady Cats open the regular season with several games in a Waxahachie/Ennis tournament beginning Thursday. Coach Jesus DeLeon expects the competition to be some of the toughest the Lady Cats will face all year.
