Everything Unique Joins Square Renovations

Everything Unique, a home-furnishing specialty store at Celebration Plaza, is installing a side entrance along Broadway Street. This new entrance is scheduled to be complete in two weeks.

“We think it’s very important to be a part of Downtown and we want to keep improving it,” co-owner Steve Nuckolls said. “We love what they are doing with Downtown. We are also doing this to improve our building and business.”

The new side entrance is only the first part of Everything Unique’s plan. Once the side entrance is complete, the store’s front entrance will receive a make over to become a more involved part of the Square.

“We’re starting with the side entrance, and then we are also going to do our front entrance within the next month,” Nuckolls said. “The city didn’t ask us to do this, but the city is helping businesses with this process, so we got in under their program. It was a great idea for us to do this.”

Everything Unique has been a part of Sulphur Springs since the 1930s and 1940s when it was known as the Corothers Brothers. The store has been Everything Unique for 18 years since Nuckolls and his wife, Carrie Nuckolls, bought it about a year ago. They hope that, one day, the business will be taken over by their children.
