Funeral Services for William “Willie” Lee Honea, Sr., age 33 of Yantis, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Murray-Orwosky Chapel with Pastor Vivian Pierce officiating.
Interment will follow at Yantis Cemetery with Roger Honea, Jr., Jimmy Dale Vivion, Phillip Newman, Darrell Honea, Micah Gaby, J.D. Honea serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers William Honea, Jr., Jacob Honea, Cash Honea, Cason Summerlin, Dalton Honea, J.C. Nolen, Trey Honea and Brandon Landers. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
William Lee “Willie” passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2014.
He was born on August 3, 1981, the son of Roger Wayne , Sr. and Tammy Darlene Potter Honea in Dallas. He was a brick mason, avid hunter, fisherman and member of the Yantis Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include: parents, Roger, Sr. and Tammy Honea; children, William Lee Honea, Jr., Jacob Tyler Honea and Katelyn Joyce Rutledge, all of Mineola, Weston Cash Honea of Yantis; brother, Roger Wayne Honea and wife, Emily of Yantis; sister, Falon Leann Honea of Mineral Wells.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Lee and Ruthie Lee Honea, Wheeler Dale Wright and Thelma Potter.
