Nancy Cato

Funeral services for Nancy Cato, age 102, from Sulphur Springs will be held on Monday, December 8, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Tapp Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Sulphur Springs City Cemetery with Tony Duffey, Robert V. Cato, Llyod Nowlin Jr., Kevin Mills, Shane Nix, and Donald Clayborn serving as pallbearers.

Mrs Cato was born on July 12, 1912 in Blunt County Alabama to Harvey R. and Margaret Ann Dowdy Woodard. She married Lonnie Vurl Cato on July 11, 1935 she was a homemaker and member of the Primitive Baptist Faith.

She is survived by her children; Robert Kindell Cato and wife Tina of Waxahachie TX, Clara Mills and husband Gary of Sulphur Springs TX, Veola Burch of Arlington TX, and Celia McFarland of Denton TX, and 8 Grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Harvey and Margaret Woodard, her husband, Lonnie Vurl Cato, two sons; Thurman Wade Cato, and Donal Winfred Cato and a son-In-law Gordon Burch.
