Funeral service for Mae Thomas Dial, 63, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Willis Taylor and Pastor Barry Stribling officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Tyrone Clayton, Kevin Johnson, Ronnie Johnson, Robert Finnie, Chaddrick Johnson, and Hubert Pryor serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmie Davis and Lagary Dixson. There will be no formal visitation.

Mrs. Dial passed away Monday, December 15, 2014 at her residence. She was born on January 20, 1951 in Mt. Pleasant, TX, the daughter of Robert Lee and Geneva Bolden Johnson. She married Edward Dial in Sulphur Springs in 1980. He survives. Mae worked as a laundry assistant for many years and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. In addition to her husband she is also survived by son, Quan Johnson of Sulphur Springs, daughter, Eurenka Shantay Spigner of Sulphur Springs, grandchildren, Latydrick Johnson and wife Patricia of Ft. Gordon, GA, Zacharian Spigner of Sulphur Springs, great-granddaughters, Aubreanna Kamille Johnson, A’Myrah Katrice Johnson, brothers, Harry Johnson, Ronnie Johnson, sisters, Ethel Mae Johnson, Sheila Dial, Naomi Johnson, Florence Williams, Jerry Finley, and Vernon Reece. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, R.L. Johnson and James Johnson.
