The Lady Cats’ basketball team saw leading scorer Desi Debase suffer an injury midway through second quarter at John Tyler Tuesday night. She tried to play through it but was unable to return. Despite the injury, the Lady Cats had a 24-22 halftime lead. During the second half, John Tyler limited the Lady Cats to 10 points as the Lady Lions rolled to a 56-34 win. The Lady Cats are now 6-2. They’ll play next in an Edgewood tournament that starts Thursday.
