Walls are going up at the site of the new Hopkins County Jail project. Recent rains have slowed things down and County Judge Robert Newsom says the project is now 17 days behind schedule. By mid-January, Judge Newsom says the contractor hopes to have all the concrete poured. The judge says plans still call for prisoners to be moved in next October.
