A large number of people will be involved in making Veterans Day a special day on Celebration Plaza at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Veterans Memorial Committee Member John Prickette said it would be a day of recognition and honor, with solemnity and celebration. Groups involved include the Marine Corps Detachment, students from Como-Pickton and Sulphur Springs High School including the band and choir and the county Military Coalition.
