The Lady Cats’ basketball team held on in the fourth quarter to defeat Hugo, Oklahoma, 53-51 on the road Friday night. Lady Cat Lexie Moore made a key long inbound pass to Kasey Moore as Hugo surrounded point guard Desi Debase. Kasey was fouled and made one foul shot. The final Hugo shot missed. The Lady Cats are now 2-0. Desi Debase had 18 points and Kasey Moore collected ten rebounds. The Lady Cats play next at Rockwall-Heath on December 2.
