The Lady Cats’ basketball team opened the regular season on the road Tuesday night with a 49-30 win over Lindale. Coach Jeff Chapman agreed with a fan’s thought that there were a few glimpses of what the coach is hoping for from the team. The Lady Cats jumped out to an 8-point lead after the first quarter and then put the game away with a ten-point advantage in the third quarter. Desi Debase led the Lady Cats with 17-points and also had 8-rebounds. Daieyshia Pruitt came off the bench to score 8-points. Freshman Kaylee Jefferson had 8-rebounds and 5-points. The Lady Cats play at Hugo, Oklahoma Friday night
