Charlie Epperson

Memorial services for Charlie Epperson, age 71 of Ridgeway, will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 1, 2014 at Wesley United Methodist Church with Steve Cook officiating..  There will be no formal visitation.

Mr. Epperson passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Paris Regional Medical Center. He was born on February 11, 1943 in Benton, TN the son of Fred and Nora Arp Epperson.  He graduated from Polk County High School and earned a BA from the University of TN at Knoxville.  He married Silvina Kasztelanski on August 3, 1984 in Vaihingen, Germany.  She survives.  He served in the U.S. Air Force for twelve years and also was a Mason.  He was associated with the Red Cross organizations Disaster Action Team.  He was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church and the Russian Initiative for the United Methodist Church.

Other survivors include: sons, Benjamin Epperson and Jon Epperson; daughter, Victoria Woolsey and husband, Nick; sister, Jeannie Chavez; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Heart Association; Kidney Foundation or Wesley United Methodist Church.
