Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting for Brian Toliver Ford Lincoln.
Thank you to everyone who attended the grand opening and ribbon cutting for Brian Toliver Ford Lincoln. Hundreds of guests were treated to a fabulous lunch, hosted by the Toliver’s as they shared their beautiful new showroom with the community. Representatives from Ford & Ford Credit were on hand to show their appreciation to the Toliver Ford Family for their dedication to the Ford brand and to this community by making such a tremendous investment here in Sulphur Springs. We encourage you to stop by their location on Gilmer Street and check it out! They also have a new full service wash bay, so each car that is serviced leaves the dealership more beautiful than when it entered!

5th Annual Gifts of Love Adoption Cards Available at the Chamber office.
Each year, many seniors in our community spend the holidays alone and receive NO gifts to brighten their days. The Lamar County Human Resources Center has taken on Delta County, Hopkins County and Red River County, so they have about 270 homebound and disabled clients that will be available for adoption for Christmas through their annual Gifts of Love program. If you would like to adopt a senior, please contact April Miller at 903-784-2580. The Chamber of Commerce has the adoption cards at our office. After looking at the cards…these people don’t want much…most of them are requesting a book and/or a jacket…maybe shoes or a purse. All the gifts and/or donations need to be returned with the card, no later than December 5th. Those who don’t want to adopt a senior, but would like to make generic donations, may drop items such as blankets, robes, toothbrushes, soaps, books or money at the Chamber office. Those generic donations will go to the seniors that were not adopted. Also, if you would like to help in delivering these items on December 19th, please make arrangements with April.
