At noon Wednesday, Brian and Leesa Toliver, along with their sons Brent and Jonathan, their wives and grandchildren, hosted the Grand Opening of the renovated Toliver Ford. The turn out for the event was excellent with the showroom packed from wall to wall. The Toliver family has been in the automobile business since 1930, when the price of a Ford pickup was $295.00. As their great-grandfather , Mr. R.L. Burton, used to say, “Pick your dealer first and then choose your car.” This third and fourth generation dealership continues with that motto today. Eighty plus years ago Mr. Burton was right when he spoke those words. The words ring true today at Brian Toliver Ford Lincoln as they proclaim, “You Will Like The Way We Trade!” The ownership is now in the hands of Brian Toliver and his sons Brent and Jonathan.
