After a gift of 600 loads of dirt from the new jail project, the Hopkins County Historical Society had added 3-acres of land to Heritage Park. The new acreage needs trees and Max Bradford is seeking the public’s help in funding 30 red oak trees. Bradford proposes a $50 donation per tree in memory of or in honor of a special person. Permanent markers will be located around each tree also showing the donor. Checks may be brought to the park museum.
