A 16-year boy from Como, who just recently transferred to Sulphur Springs High School, was killed in a one-vehicle accident at around 3 p.m. Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Addison Bennett. The accident occurred on FM 69 South near County Road 2316 in the Brinker Community. The driver of the vehicle went off the road on a curve and hit a tree. Justice of the Peace Yvonne King pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
